By using our candles, you agree to follow these guidelines and understand that any misuse may result in injury or damage.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, using, or handling our candles, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and Safety Guidelines. If you do not agree, you should refrain from using our candles.
2. Candle Safety Guidelines
To ensure the safe use of our candles, please follow these important safety tips:

-
Never leave a candle unattended
-
Always keep a burning candle within sight. Never leave a candle burning when you leave the room or go to sleep
-
Keep candles away from flammable objects: a) Place candles on heat-resistant surfaces and keep them away from curtains, papers, books, or other flammable materials. b) Ensure the candle is placed on a stable, level surface to avoid tipping. c) Candles should never be placed in enclosed spaces such as bookcases or shadowboxes
-
Use candle holders: Always use appropriate candle holders designed for the size and shape of the candle to ensure stability
-
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets: always keep candles away from children, pets, or anyone who may inadvertently come into contact with an open flame
-
Trim the wick: before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm). A wick that is too long can cause excessive flame, soot, or uneven burning
-
Burn candles in a well-ventilated area: Candles should be burned in an area with adequate ventilation to prevent the buildup of smoke or fumes
-
Extinguish candle properly: To put out a candle, use a candle snuffer. Never use water to extinguish a candle, as this can cause splattering or breakage
-
Refrain from picking up a candle while burning. Candles should only be picked up and moved when they are no longer burning and the jar has cooled down
-
Avoid Drafts: Keep candles away from drafts, vents, or air currents to prevent uneven burning or the flame from flickering or blowing out
-
Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time: To avoid overheating the container or creating a fire hazard, it is recommended that you burn your candle no longer than 4 hours at a time
-
Candles and wax melts are not edible
-
Avoid contact with water: Never submerge your candle in water or place it in a wet environment, as this can affect the wax and wick performance
-
Wax Melts: Use only in tea-light warmers or UL listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Read and follow all instructions provided with your warmer before use. Do not leave melter unattended while in use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not add water. Do not melt on stove top or in non-appproved appliances. Only use in well ventilated areas away from flammable materials. Discontinue if the dish contains less than 1/2” of wax
3. Candle Product Warnings
Each candle comes with specific safety warnings and usage instructions. Please adhere to the following general warnings:
-
For container candles: Always ensure that the container is not cracked, chipped, or damaged before lighting the candle. Never burn a candle all the way down to the bottom of the container. Leave about 1/2 inch of wax to avoid damaging the container
-
Trim the wick: before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm). A wick that is too long can cause excessive flame, soot, or uneven burning

Phthalate-free
-
Prop 65 compliant
-
IFRA certified for safe use in home fragrance

-
Some oils may include proprietary blends, so individual components aren’t always listed — but every fragrance is thoughtfully selected with human safety as a top priority As with any scented product, some individuals may experience sensitivity to certain fragrance ingredients. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, we recommend reviewing ingredients with your healthcare provider—SDS sheets available upon request

-
A note about pets: While our oils are safe for typical home use and we’ve never had issues around our furry friends, they are not specifically tested for pet exposure (as most fragrance manufacturers do not conduct animal-specific testing).
